Kartik is like big brother to me and i enjoy his company,again he is one of the person from whom i take advice on issues related to academics. very few people know other side of kartik,for that one must had been at friday night party at AWHO, bro i still have some very good pics of urs of awho party where u were drunked and what show u presented thereafter!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thambi..Yenge o pawi tinge!!! Hmmm..it feels a lil strange writing this cos knowing you, you’re not gonna give a rat’s ass about what I or anybody else has to say..not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing but anyways.. Mr.Kopparty although we’ve been casual friends from the very start, off-late you’ve been a real solid friend when it mattered the most, for which I am and will be eternally grateful...You are probably the only person I know who doesn’t have an emotional bone in his body and frankly that kinda freaks me out! I hate the fact that you drink like a bitch and the fact that you stay the same eventhough you eat waaay more than me (its true). I hope I live to see the day when you stop talking about bombing people and nations and focus more on the subtle and finer aspects of life..I really do hope we stay in touch and I hope all your dreams and aspirations come true..Thanks for being there..cheers!

The best thing about Kartik is that what appears on surface is very different from what lies inside. You might conclude that he is a lucky-go-happy type of guy but he is much more than that. One of the most focussed guys of our college, he achieves what he sets out for. And the icing on the cake is his calmness and attitude. As a person he is a lovely, admirable and knowledgeble lad.. How can I forget to mention summer experience we had together.. wow! Wo patel nagar, karol bagh, green park, hauz khas mein sath mein jana aur shopkeepers ka mazak udana.. wo Outlook office k niche amritsari ka khana (Rs30/plate).. Goin to Jia sarai..with u havin Tomato Rice and I Dosa.. ;) Mazak k time mazak aur kaam k time tera professional attitude.. I like that bro’.. Aur haan, Outlook office mein Anil Kapoor, Peri, Kabir, Priya, Priyanka, Anamika, Monica and last but not the least, Shrutika ko kaise bhul sakte hain hum.. ;-) Data analysis k time hass hass k gir jana.. was awsum.. And, wo builder jisne kaha tha “Abey bhar le yaar”.. hahaha..I think it’ll not be possible for us to forget those moments.. Another thing, pro congress Outlook office mein BJP k naare lagana, ye hum jaise himmat walo ka hi kaam ho sakta hai yaar.. “Naya Sawera, Nayi Aandhi, Narendra Modi, Varun Gandhi”, “Kaat dalenge uss haath ko”…haha.. College mein Thamba, ID ki presentation ke pehle wala wo action, Namastey with hands up,.. can’t forget.. We have shared many light moments together, but Kartik, I really hav learned a lot from u durin this time.. ‘focus’ is the thing.. yeah..U hav always been like a big brother to me.. keep havin fun bro..Njoy!
This person is the coolest of the lot, but inside lies a person who worries of problems but he probably knows how to handle them.
My favorite memories of him is in his animated funny replays that he re-directs to show how ridiculous some people or event might be. He has some criticism at the tip of his tongue for each and every person, or system. He can be so hilarious that he himself finds it fascinating.
The most interesting part is when he brings coffee from the canteen with the so very casual walk of his, and sips coffee like he has all the time in the world as people are actively busy worrying, deliberating, discussing or complaining.
Another beautiful cool attribute of him is his amazing sponge-like ability to absorb criticism like it was never said or meant. He will never fret and when he complains later, it all seems like he is doing just to have some fun, and he is. You could say all the bad things about him on his face, and he probably will just be calmly sipping coffee and listening to you all the while.
At work, it's hard to point a finger at him. He is so sublime in his transformation from an active team player to becoming completely invisible from the scene of duty! But yes, when he means it, he does his part with amazing spontaneity. And, its not like he cares that much for fame or pride from work and that is what keeps him cool, while the rest just drudge along the way. He only cares that he can pay for his chocolates, Parle-G Biscuits with bananas, sweet curd, veg Momos and many more... that too just after a full meal as dinner at second sitting... and will remain still as slim as ever! That is one thing which I probably will never understand.
Nothing in the World matters when he is drunk. He does not worry to get his hands dirty to scold away anybody in his way in the most funniest of ways. He enjoys to his heart content. And then he is the man. I remember his pockets of secret unfold about his failed affairs and hitting his head with pillow or his against the wall. He was so concerned that day. I felt like bringing those ladies to justice, just for him, But he had confessed that it was all his mistake.
I want to him to stay the same. Have all the fun just as he is having and make the most of it. He is a guy with a strong disposition to his objectives and he has everything in him to get them done. I wish him all the very best in all endeavours of life.
Kartik is unquestionably one of the biggest inspiration I had at IWSB. His style of working (if he want's), rationality to the core thinking, No-nonsense attitude and never ending positivity (in the situation which he understands); are few of the most positive traits in his personality. I have never discussed it before but I worked in most of the groups very close to him to just observe him closely and learn few seemingly critical Professional things from him, Well it was worth more than it...and indecently it went well too.
Parbhakar very rightly put it You can never see Kartik tense in any situation, but one amendment is someone, who have been close for long, can sense that current is very fast below the surface.
Kartik is definitely a friend for lifetime, and first guy I would seek opinion of whom, when I ever will need a PROFESSIONAL one.
Memories are:- Our numerous group works (I know you dont give a dammn about them), AWHO Friday night dance parties filled with your unconditional love for Zeenat Amaan songs... and ever special dance ziggs in Unique only Kartik can do style, By the way you never paid full for the booz...
Yeah..!!! we were room mates for two months at Malviya Nagar...Bangal sweets and Ice Cubes from a floor above will always be special...Specially ice cubes..!
Your special comments about bombing few very special places on planet, and use of Anthrax to protect the infrastructure...!!!

Although I do not know much about him, neither have spent too much time with him but still by our small-small interactions, I could at least realize a person in him who is not only really good at heart but also has immense patience...
