Devarshi Maheshwari

  1. Dev, undoubtedly is one of the NICEST HUMAN BEINGS I have ever met. I will always remember the time spent with him at MBGH, before Komal took him away from me :( . Those evenings spent in the balcony, his Mithun Special Dance, his sad jokes, how he got angry with me when i made a blunder on his orkut profile and how he forgave me for that within moments.

Attending his Marriage in Allahabad was one of the best moments all of us had during our stay at IWSB, and everyone who was there would agree with me on the FOOD, we still miss, specially that Orange Juice and Mattar ki sabzi tht afternoon.

I have loads to write about u Brother. How we used to joke during IWPL, ur fitness, and u taking money and gifts from Komal.

When I saw, Komal and You together, my first thought was, 'These 2 are made of each other, a Perfect Couple'. May God Bless both of you.

I hope u always stay as wonderful a person u are.

but please get rid of this bad habit of taking money from ur in-laws..

    Love You Brother!!

  2. (Since racist Anish calls me a racist I can say this here)
Dev is a true Marwari friend i found at IWSB so the journey was a little more comfortable ! b
In him, sometimes, I see my future. (Getting married to the choice he made) although not the financial aspect. The trio (Vipash, me and Dev) could share a lot of “Bandi” Jokes as all three of us could relate to it.
Like me, Dev also got a taste for food, he likes Yellow Daal. We got similar choice of colour also. I envy his red shoes, as it goes well with my red pants, shirts, bag and cap! (courtesy Vipash) And in a lot of other things we are same except for our colours and brains. The latter is brighter in my case !
His wedding function was more than just fun. We felt like family, we had an amazing time and we ate like Haiti refugees! His way of doing things always amazed me, i though he would be the first one to flunk after he is married and surprisingly it was raining A+ grades after Komal came. I later found out she was an MBA HR.
I always felt really close to him and could share things with ease. But we got a long way to go, he is the big brother and he got a lot to do, and thus numerous transactions are yet to happen! Will miss you brother !

  3. Devi Baby! This guy is fantastic! The first few months at IWSB when we sat together were fun, especially with his Yellow laptop around! I wonder what he was smoking when he ordered - Oh wait, he didn't have to! He had one Mr. Singh around! :D
Anyway, this guy has a great sense of humor and can make the best of almost any situation, mostly by making fun of it! I'll remember the 5 minutes of that play we practiced for, and your role as a firang in the play at one of the library cultural sessions that looked more like Mujra sessions.
Hope you get all you want from life, with yellow daal on top! :)

  8. Dev – a complete sweetheart, a rare combo of brains and brawns, would give his right hand for friendship, passionate about his dance, etc. I am one of the few fortunate souls to have witnessed so many facets of Dev’s personality. I hope you always remain as good and generous a person as you are and also that you keep your funny side intact.

I will always carry with me the moments spent with Dev at IWSB – Farhan’s marriage at Tees Hazari court where Dev, Sameer, Sagar and I were the witnesses, Dev’s own marriage at his palatial home in Allahabad (a mention of the menu still gives me saliva in the mouth), the several parties at Dev’s home (thanks to his pretty wife Komal), the pappu dance and much more.

Dev and Komal, plan a trip to Andaman, you can always expect a warm welcome at my place. Look forward to many more memorable moments together in our journey of life.

    Love

    Asad

kewl in bakaiti (Dev will understand what it means) and focussed on studies.. And what else do I say about this gem of a person? Ofcourse how could I forget!! He's speaks the most amazing 'few sentences' in Allahabadi accent that can make you hell lotta laugh:P lol...but nonetheless, you r a great buddy and I m thankfull to have you as one!!

  11. DEV Babu. I still laugh whenever a new faculty confuses me for him and vice versa at IWSB. Knew very little about him in 1st year, since he got married and moved out early. But the past year has been a revelation of sorts.Have discovered his charming witty nature and his penchant for having a good time. And how can a dance party @ iwsb be complete without your retro Mithun dance !!!
Today both of us share a healthy camaraderie and keep on making fun of each other and everyone else !!! And yes, I won't be using my migraine/disprin to get out of the class, coz you won't be able to see it as everyone else. Jab kabhi bhi miloge toh khoob dabake piyenge samjhe, kya samjhe ? Aur agar nahi piya toh as you say, "Pel Denge"
    Your Friend

  12. Well Dev as I see is someone who is mature, witty and a warm hearted lad. Great time we had during our post class interaction on "Mustaffa" and "Kya tu MD ka dall hai rey" sessions. Rahul you and my continuous postmortem of these two courses is worth remembering.

  13. Hi Dev
You are one of the most soft spoken person I have met and I used to always be scared of talking to you lest I say something in my usual insensitive style which might upset you. Anyways. Its been great knowing you and the parties at your place will always be in my memory as nothing less than awesome. Komal's tips on good family management shall be remembered everyday. :):):).
I hope you achieve great heights in life. Keep in touch.

    Love

  14. If anyone in the last 20months transited from being team members to a colleague it is Devarshi. The two months we slogged ours in CL was the best working time I had spent. Hats off to your ability to take the pressure out of work and make it a sheer fun. Cig breaks, unlimited downloads, Manju’s MP3 player and Gopal’s real estate are add on. It will be always a pleasure to work with you. And yes you come with all the frills- food and drink at your weeding, parties in your flat and home food from Her Highness Komal. You both Rock! Rock on!..samrat

  15. Hi Dev,
Wish we could have spent some time together. Heard so much about your jokes and funny dance, never got to see them though.
To the only other married guy of the batch,
Cheers and wish you good luck.
